Canberra Birds

Birds are plentiful and varied around Canberra.  A week or so I met this little one near my son's home in southern Canberra:
King Parrot

As can be seen from the photo, this King Parrot did not mind me being very close.  This is their usual habit around Canberra where these birds are fed by the human inhabitants.  Other, bigger, parrot species are more circumspect, like these Galahs, Little Corellas and Sulphur crested Cockatoos:
Galahs at left, Little Corellas centre, one Cockatoo right.

The Galahs etc., were photographed in front of our home in Canberra.
